It was a spectacle…who did it? What countries were involved? It had nothing to do with politics, I promise! No one was hurt…but help was standing by. It happened April 6, just a couple days ago. Here are the countries that were involved and in alphabetical order: Algeria, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Mexico, the Netherlands, Peru, Spain, Sweden, UK, the USA and the Caribbean Islands from the BVI’s to St. Kitts and more unnamed I’m sure.
At least 300 people were involved. “300”
It happened in an area spanning 2.5 miles, across the “Narrows” they call it, between two sister-islands, a once-in-a-lifetime exhilarating challenge and annual event with 300 swimmers of all abilities offering you – that’s right – this once-in-a-lifetime unique and rewarding experience! Meet at Nevis, Oualie Beach to your final dry landing with crystal-clear waters, visibility down to the seabed at Cockleshell Bay, St Kitts.
Some were elite open water swimmers from around the globe, others welcomed were non-competitive swimmers using fins and snorkels! PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS: for Channel Hydrotherapy Prescription (CHP): Wild Side Destinations realize water healthcare is a naturopathic treatment (similar to packing your suitcase) as far back as the beginning of recorded history. It is evidence based that the ocean and water alleviates multiple physical symptoms of muscle pain, joint stiffness, burns, combined with exercise can cause weight loss. Water therapy/Hydrotherapy reduces symptoms without medication or more invasive treatments with little or no time recovery. Your Channel Hydrotherapy Prescription will support and improve your mental health, start rehabilitation, enhance behaviors impacting health and well-being. The ocean, time on the beach lifts, your mood, self-esteem and promotes relaxation. Further reducing stress and anxiety leading to a greater sense of calm and relaxation.
